The Stampede has shown
That commentators can be
More boring than paste.
I saw about five minutes of the Calgary Stampede while flipping channels tonight and realized that the commentators they had on were remarkably low in energy and oomph. Remember that SNL sketch, The Delicious Dish, that was supposed to be a food show on NPR? You know, the one with Alec Baldwin? The Delicious Dish folk were energized compared with the Stampede guys.
